Even the UGLIEST of Staff Utility bathrooms deserves a facelift and that’s exactly what We did.  Stage 1 was removing all cabinets and fixtures dating this bathroom to early medieval times.  Stage 2,  patching EVERY hole, crack, gouge and ‘oops’ in the ceilings and walls till We were able to create a foundation from which to start.  Stage 4 had to do with painting the ceiling and walls giving the space a non ‘Helter Skelter’ appeal. Stage 5 had to do with purchasing fixtures and continuity with other aspects of the building.  Since other bathrooms used similar colours and floor, even though this is a small room, We continued with the pattern into here.  The sink counter top however needed a bit more space so a custom countertop was made, stained and heavily laminated for durability but also to blend in. Finally Stage 6, installation of sink, toilet, mirror, lighting and new switches completed the job. A small job but a big change from what rivaled the bathroom scene in Pulp Fiction to somewhere you’re no longer concerned about getting a tetanus shot to enter.
